Atlantic Challenge - World's Toughest Row 2023

We are Team Out of the Blue and starting on December 12th, 2023 we will set off to row 4800km across the Atlantic Ocean in the World's Toughest Row! Racing non-stop for over four weeks, we want to push our limits and prove the power of teamwork and the human spirit. But before that, on May 31st, we have a significant milestone: the 100km Ringvaart Regatta, to kickstart our awareness campaign for our chosen charities. (and having a little fun along the way)

As a team with different backgrounds and rowing experience, this challenge and its uncertainties are new to all of us. Our goal is to inspire others to overcome adversity and to raise funds for mental health charities MIND Us and JIGSAW that provide essential support to young people. As engineering & science students passionate about sustainability we also want to highlight the impact of climate change on mental well-being and promote ocean literacy through partnerships with Reef Support and Sea Synergy.

To continue turning this extraordinary journey into reality, we need your support. We aim to raise €15,000 for the World's Toughest Row - Atlantic Challenge. Your contribution directly funds race fees, safety training, insurance, and essential expenses, ensuring a safe and successful crossing. Once we reach this all additional funds will be split amongst our charities.
