We’re gearing up for the BellRinger Ride on October 25th - taking on a metric century to support life-saving cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. I’ll be riding with my close friend and long-time partner on the road, Jeff Newman. We’re both a little less trained than we’d like this year, but we’re ready to push through, ride with hundreds of others, and - let’s be honest - try to edge each other out at the finish line.

Cancer isn’t abstract for us. We’ve both been through it a few years ago, and along the way we’ve seen friends, family, and colleagues face their own battles. This ride is a way to honor that wide circle of people who’ve been affected, and to remind ourselves that progress comes mile by mile, lab by lab, trial by trial.

Every dollar raised goes straight to Lombardi to drive new treatments and discoveries. If you can, we’d love your support - for the cause, for the science, and maybe a little bit for the two of us huffing our way through 62 miles. Thanks for backing Team O.R.
