I can say that we certainly did not believe as a family we would be where we are today.

As most of you know, our daughter, Nicki Tygart, at 27, kicked breast cancer's butt 3 years ago and is doing great.
A few weeks ago we discovered that her twin, Naysa Bemies, is gonna have to make a run for it and do the same. To say we are shocked might be an understatement.

When the twins were about 2 and Hannah a newborn, Papa really laid on my heart to begin a daily affirmation over them. I found myself speaking "Saylor girls are tough" over and over, not at all imagining that they would need that grit for such a time as this.

Naysa faces 4 months of chemo, followed by surgery, then radiation and immunotherapy. We are also pursuing progressive alternative care to help her mitigate the side effects and stay as strong as possible through treatment. In true "Saylor form," it is important to her to continue working, caring for her family, and serving in church.

First, we would like to ask that all our friends and family would join us in prayer. Specifically for healing, wisdom and strength as we journey this difficult path. Prayers for Naysa to stay encouraged and brave, prayers for wisdom as they walk their 2 young boys through watching mom process treatment, and strength and patience for Tanner as he leads their family through this hard time.

Second, we ask that if you feel led, you could help by giving financially as almost 2 years of treatment, travel and support treatment will be financially trying and overwhelming.

As a family, our desire is to fight right beside Naysa, when one warrior pauses the others shore her up. It is the true heart of our family to see God get all the glory for what we will face and to be good stewards of the miracles we believe are coming.

As a mom, I believe one day I will sit in a crowd and listen to my girls testify of God's plan in using them to prove "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us."

We are so grateful for our tribe and thank you all for every prayer and dollar. We are ready for this fight because "Saylor girls are tough"!
