This story of Mike Hajovsky-- AKA….Mikey, Lolly, Uncle Mikey and Daddy, began on August 3rd, 2021 when he started feeling terrible and complaining of shortness of breath, chest pains and basically all flu related symptoms. Mikey asked to be taken to the ER at Sugarland Methodist Hospital because of the way he felt and after being examined and having multiple x-rays …he was diagnosed with SEVERE COVID PNEUMONIA and immediately admitted to ICU.
Mikey stayed in ICU one and a half months with no visitors allowed for the first three weeks and then was moved to a regular floor. Mikey then moved to Kindred Hospital to undergo physical therapy which could never happen due to continued complications from COVID. He was at Kindred two separate times and is currently back at Methodist Hospital for the third time trying to recover. Today marks well over 135 days in the hospital and over time has had very severe and life-threatening complications.
Since day one of this terrible nightmare we have asked everyone we know and don’t know to pray for him and we all BELIEVE that this is the reason he is still here with us today along with his positivity and the means of NEVER GIVING UP!! Mikey has shown such AMAZING fight and he is definitely
“Our HERO” for going through what he has endured.
Mikey is self-employed and has not been able to work for the past four months which has been difficult along with Jennifer; his wife taking unpaid leave of absence from her job to be Mikey’s advocate and cheerleader. Morgan; his daughter has been involved in so many ways helping out her Dad by handling chores at home, tending to cattle, animals on the farm and making daily trips to the hospital to be by her Daddy’s side. The whole family is ready for him to come home…but, we know that the road to recovery will be one day at a time.
Mikey is working hard each day and we appreciate all the love and prayers that have been coming his way…there is NO doubt that GOD is with him and his whole entire family.
Many people have asked “what can we do to help?” so, we thought as his family we would set up this GOFUND.ME account. We would appreciate anything you can do to contribute…if not money, PLEASE continue to pray for his COMPLETE healing and pray for his family. THANK YOU for what you can do for them. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!
