I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer after my routine mammogram on February 12, 2018.  I was advised to seek treatment at Duke Cancer Treatment, a world class Cancer center only 2 hours from my home. On March 26, I underwent surgery for a bilateral mastectomy.  July 19th, I underwent a second surgery (10 hours). Being a young woman I still want to be restored as much as possible and I thank God and the wonderful surgeons at Duke. I am truly grateful for Life, my family and I no longer take my good health for granted.  Duke Medical Center is a wonderful facility but world class healthcare is not free. I’m asking All my family, friends, pink sisters and anyone with the heart to contribute to do so if you can. I promise to pay the generosity forward.  I ask that you also keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I have at least one more surgery to go.
