Friends and Family of Marlene Campbell & Team Marlene,
Team Marlene shares a common experience: we all had the pleasure of meeting Marlene when our children were newborns and we needed help. She is like family for many of us. Marlene shared her guidance, patience, positive energy, and warm personality as she helped us navigate the craziness of newborn stage… and always handled anxious new parents with a smile (and a laugh)! We leaned on her, and she was always there for us. She adored our babies.
As a wife and mother to her own 3 boys (10-year old twins and a 12-year old), Marlene has worked tirelessly to provide her family with the best opportunities, even if that meant sacrificing time with them to care for us.
In early March 2021, at the age of 38, Marlene was diagnosed with Stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer ("IBC"). IBC is very rare, accounting for only 1-5% of all breast cancers, and is unfortunately among the most aggressive types of breast cancer. Marlene has limited resources and we've been doing everything we can to be there for Marlene and help her through this process of figuring out the best path forward.
Team Marlene is raising money to help Marlene and her family. Our goal is to make sure money isn't a factor in getting Marlene the best care and treatment. Our goal is also to support her family while she is out of work receiving urgent medical care.
Marlene cares deeply for our families and now we have a chance to show her the same care and love in return! Please spread the word!
