Hi everyone! My name is Katie Williams and I am here to recruit team members to help my beautiful friend Mandy fight the cancer monster. Cancer is vicious and can drain a family financially and emotionally if they are not held up by their community. Let’s hold Mandy up and help her FIGHT BACK!

Mandy Fair grew up in Clinton, Oklahoma, and graduated from CHS in 1993. She has been married to her husband, Eric, for 26 years, and together they’ve made their home in Woodward, Oklahoma, for the past 24 years. They are proud parents to two wonderful daughters: Erica, 24, and Emalee, 18, who just began her freshman year at Rose State College.

Recently, Mandy received the difficult news that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma. She is currently receiving care at the Stephenson Cancer Center, where her medical team has recommended immunotherapy before surgery. She will undergo one treatment, followed by a second three weeks later, then take a week to allow her body to rest before facing a complex, 12-hour surgery to remove the tumor. As part of the procedure, doctors will also remove affected lymph nodes through an incision in her neck. After surgery, she will continue with 15 cycles of immunotherapy to give her the best possible chance for recovery.

This journey will be long and challenging, both physically and financially. The cost of treatments, surgery, travel, and time away from work is significant, and Mandy will not receive pay during her time off.

Mandy is a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend to many. She has touched countless lives with her kindness, faith, and strength. Now, she needs our support as she faces this battle.
