Team Lena and Nina- Courageous Batten Warriors

I am hiking from Portugal to Spain to raise funds for the Batten Disease Family Association, a cause very close to my heart. I care for two amazing 7 year old girls living with this rare condition. It causes them to have epilepsy and affects their ability to walk, talk, see and eventually eat. Every day I see their challeneges but their strength, positive light and unending laughter push them on. There is currently no cure for Batten disease but a lifeline like Brineura slows the progression of the disease. Access to it is limited so help me raise awareness and research to give familes like Lena and Nina's the care they deserve.
