My name is Aime and my dog Leeroy has been my entire world for the last 10 years. If you know me, you know him. He has a huge personality, loves to play, and is loved by many.

A few weeks ago, Leeroy suddenly became very sick. After many vet visits, exams and testing, he was then diagnosed with prostate cancer (carcinoma), which has spread to a nearby lymph node. He was immediately put on medication to help manage his symptoms, and an oncology team has created a treatment plan for him.

But Leeroy is still fighting.

He still plays, still runs at the dog park, still begs for food, and still acts like his puppy self. His oncologist believes that with proper treatment, he can continue to have a good quality of life. His cancer has not spread to major organs, and he qualifies for chemotherapy that could give him months to a year of meaningful happy life. He still has joy, energy, and so much life in him.

His new routine now includes multiple medications, ongoing monitoring, vet visits, and soon, chemotherapy. I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of his treatments so he can have the best quality of life for as long as possible. Every contribution goes directly toward his care.
