Dear Community,

Our beloved Karima has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer. She will be taking a leave of absence as she goes through treatment.

This is such a hit to our Sausalito-Marin City community as she works tirelessly to serve all of our children, especially when she has three wonderful kids of her own. She considers us her American family, and has assured her Algerian family that she is fine and has wonderful friends to look after her.

We all know the most generous often have a hard time accepting support. However, she is finally letting her community take care of her. You can help by donating to this page to support her and her family during this uniquely challenging time. These funds will help to cover the costs of her medical treatments.
