Dear Family and Friends,
We are starting this GoFundMe in honor of my
nephew Justus Graham Mendoza. After a recommendation for Justus to have an orthopedic evaluation for scoliosis, an MRI found a tumor on his Clivus which is part of the cranium located at the base of the skull where it meets the spine. The doctor recommended Justus be seen at MD Anderson.
The location of the tumor makes it necessary for removal. His surgery has been set for July 24th. It is an 8-12 hour surgery and he will be in Houston, Texas for two weeks. He will then have to go back to Houston for 6 weeks of Proton Therapy.
The doctors were amazed at how this tumor was located without Justus having any pain or side effects from the tumor. We know the Lord allowed us to find it and are trusting him in this whole process. We are asking God to give the surgeons skill and for this whole tumor to be entirely removed. We are praying for Justus to be healthy, strong, and completely healed here on Earth. Please pray along with us and follow us on this journey.
My sister Elizabeth and brother in law James will be traveling back and forth to be with Justus and to their other three children Joshua, Bella, and Josiah. I am hoping to assist my sister’s family with Justus’ medical expenses, traveling, lodging, and any other expenses that arise. Thank you in advance.
