Help Support Jessica Striker Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Life has thrown a devastating challenge at someone who means so much to so many.

Our dear friend Jessica, a loving mother of two, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. She’s been a pillar of strength and positivity In our community for years- a devoted hockey mom who has cheered from the sidelines, organized team events, and brought countless smiles at the rink supporting Chebucto Hockey Club. Beyond that, she is a hardworking, kindhearted woman who has spent the last few years focusing on her health and well-being, becoming an inspiration to others through her dedication to improve her health and joining a local running club of Park Run and Team Miles, training for the Bluenose Marathon 5K while still going through her first round of chemo.

Jessica has always been there for others.

Now she needs our help.

Cancer is a battle no one should have to fight alone, and the toll it takes isn’t just physical and emotional but financial as well.

Jessica is currently undergoing her second round of chemotherapy, which has been incredibly hard on her body.

She will soon be unable to work, creating a massive financial strain on her and her family. This is where we, her friends, family and community, can step in to lighten her load.

Our goal is to raise funds to help cover her monthly bills and to ensure she can focus entirely on what’s most important-

fighting this awful disease and spending precious time with her Family and Friends.

We know that Jessica is a fighter- she’s shown us this through her determination and spirit in every aspect of her life.
