4-14-25 Update on Jeremy from his wife Jessica:
So here goes a long update on Jeremy. We ended up in ER on Saturday night cause I felt Jeremy seemed off. He was sleeping a lot, in lots of pain, seemed out of it, he was very pale and slurring his speech. I assumed his calcium levels have gotten high again. So they ran a bunch of test and his calcium levels had gotten high again. So when calcium gets high in cancer patients it’s an indicator that the cancer is spreading and growing. So Jeremy’s cancer has spread/grown more since we were last here in the hospital 4 weeks ago. The mass on kidney has grown, spots on liver, bones and lungs have grown and there are new spots in the upper abdomen. So his pain is stemming from the continued growth everywhere. They are giving him new medications for the pain which seems to be helping but makes him sleepy. They are also giving him medicine to bring down the calcium and pushing lots of fluids to bring the calcium down. Today they are gonna do an echocardiogram on his heart because they hear a heart murmur and he has shortness of breath. Jeremy’s oncologist came in early this morning to talk with us about his options because the cancer is aggressively spreading. He will continue the chemotherapy that he just started to give it a fair chance for another month. Once we are able to go home he will also do weekly blood draws to check the calcium levels and if they continue to rise he will get a weekly infusion to keep them stable. I’m digging into my faith the best I can but definitely need anyone else that prays to hold our family up right now ❤️

Hi, my name is Christine Jarrad and I am one of the many friends of Jeremy Rogers and his wonderful wife, Jessica and their kids Marcus and Aubrey. On Saturday, May 7th Jeremy noticed that he was having double/blurry vision. On May 8th nothing had changed so he went to ER that night. After an MRI and other tests, it went from him possibly having a mini stroke, to a confirmed diagnosis on May 12th of stage 4 kidney cancer that has metastasized to his bones, lungs and brain. The cancer is unfortunately terminal, but right now they plan on fighting this as aggressively as they can. Since Jeremy and Jessica are self-employed, the financial strain is going to be substantial. This is where we as their family, friends, and community members come in. Jeremy has a heart of gold. He has given so much to his community; always supported his friends and family, and to be able to have the opportunity to show him just as much love and support at this time is exactly what he and his family need. This is something that is a complete shock to their family and they are just trying to process it all at this time and come up with the best plan. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for praying for Jeremy and his family. Jeremy is a pretty awesome guy... let's show Jeremy and his family just how much they are loved and appreciated. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

THANK YOU everyone for your support!!
