My name is Shannon, and I’ve been blessed to call Jenn my best friend since grade school. Anyone who knows Jenn knows she is one of the most giving, compassionate, and beautiful souls you’ll ever meet. To know her is truly to love her. She has always been the first to lend a hand, the first to listen, and the last to ever ask for help—even when she needs it most. Now, Jenn needs our help in a very big way.

In March 2024, Jenn was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer and bravely underwent surgery. We all prayed that would be the end of her cancer journey. Sadly, just over a year later, during a routine scan, doctors discovered the cancer had metastasized to both of her lungs. She is now facing stage 4 colon cancer.

Surgery is no longer an option. A chemo port has already been placed, and Jenn is preparing for an aggressive treatment plan that will include chemotherapy and potentially radiation or immunotherapy. Because of the intensity of her treatment, she will be unable to work for at least the next six months. Even through treatments and the challenges ahead, Jenn remains the center of her family’s world, pouring love into her husband, daughter, and son as she bravely fights this battle.

Jenn has spent her entire life putting others first. Now, it’s our turn to stand by her and help lighten the heavy financial and emotional burden this battle brings.
