Team Jeannette: Fighting Breast Cancer with Faith & Family
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of an incredible woman — Many of you know her intimately but for those of you who do not, Jeannette is a 57-year-old devoted mother, proud grandmother, supportive sister, loving wife, cherished member of her small-town Vermont community, and a talented, self-employed hairdresser with over 40 years of experience.
Recently, Jeannette received the devastating diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive and fast-moving form of breast cancer. Her treatment plan will require an intense course of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation therapy over the coming months. While she is ready to fight with everything she has, the emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense.
A lifelong resident of upstate Vermont, Jeannette is more than just a familiar face — she’s a cornerstone of her community. As a practicing Catholic, her faith is her foundation, and she lives that faith daily through her unwavering compassion, generosity, and commitment to others. Over four decades, she has built not only a career as a hairdresser, but also countless deep relationships, always ready to lend an ear, a hand, or a warm smile to anyone who walked through her door.
She is a loving mother of three adult children, and just recently celebrated the arrival of her first grandchild, and a second one on the way — a bright light during a challenging time.
Because she has always been self-employed, Jeannette does not have the kind of sick leave or income support that many take for granted. During treatment, she will be unable to work for extended periods of time. This fund will help ease the financial burden of medical bills, travel for treatment, and day-to-day living expenses, allowing her to focus on healing and being present with her family.
If you know Jeannette, you know how hard it is for her to ask for help — she has always been the giver. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
Please consider donating to support this amazing woman through her cancer journey. No amount is too small, and every contribution makes a difference. If you are unable to donate at this time, sharing this campaign and keeping Jeannette in your thoughts and prayers is also deeply appreciated.
