TEAM IVY JADE - TOF HEART WARRIOR

Sweet baby Ivy was so heavily prayed for to be brought to this earth and has been an absolute warrior since the day she took her first breath. Ivy and her amazing parents, Sarah and Jacob Valdez, need our love and prayers more than ever right now.

Ivy was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). TOF is a combination of four congenital heart defects (Ventricular septal defect, Overriding aorta, Pulmonary stenosis, and Hypertrophy.) In a healthy heart, blood travels through the heart to the lungs, where it picks up oxygen. Then oxygen-rich blood leaves the lungs, travels back to the heart, and then courses throughout the body. Infants with TOF have trouble getting enough blood to their lungs, so the body gets too much oxygen-poor blood. To get baby Ivy that healthy heart she has a long road ahead of her starting with an open heart surgery on December 20th at Medical City Dallas

God has had his hand in this baby girl's life since the day she was formed in Sarah's womb so I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is apart of her testimony and God will continue to have his hand in her life. Sarah & Jacob are two of the most selfless people I know and we have watched them both work day in and day out to care for Ivy and do what they needed to do to get to this point of her being able to have to this surgery.

We have put together these shirts as well as a go fund me in support of baby Ivy, Sarah, and Jacob as they continue on this long road ahead of them. It takes a village and I want them to know just how loved and supported they are. Even if you do not not donate, I know they will be extremely grateful for a prayer and your kind words.
