On October 29th, Tom ventured out to an auction. While there, Tom collapsed. Immediatly, 4 individuals (guardian angels) began CPR until first responders arrived. First responders shocked Tom's heart 6-7 times and transported him to Litchfield hospital. Once stablized, he was airlifted to St Cloud hospital.
At the St Cloud hospital it was determined Tom went into cardiac arrest, due to irregular rhythm in his heart. The St Cloud hospital immediatly started protocol of cooling his body and then slowing warming it back up. This was completed Tuesday, October 31st @ 9:00 am. Since then, Tom has been slowly recovering from the Oct. 29th event. An event that will forever change all of us as we have watched a miracle occur.
Tom continues his care at St Cloud hsopital as he continues to recover his strength and memory, Once he is strong enough he will receive a new pacemaker.
Many have asked, how can we help? Tom has healing to do and Deb is busy being his care taker. Let's continue to surround them with love and prayer. But now let's also support them financially so they don't need to worry about the financial burden of this event. Let all of us help Tom, Deb, Macy, and Reed focus on Tom's recovery! All funds donated will go directly to Tom and Deb for medical bills.
