Hello, my name is Jean Kapsner and this is my beautiful new granddaughter who was born one month premature. She was diagnosed after birth with a blood infection and spent 3 days in a drug induced coma to prevent brain swelling and to aid in repairing her lungs. This sweet baby girl will be spending 3 weeks in the NICU at Portland Maine Hospital for recovery, provided all goes well.

Her parents, Tripp and Allison have spent every waking hour at her bedside. Siblings Jack and Charlie are at home missing them, but mom was able to go home for a day to tend to them and hug them.

Praise God, this sweet girl is showing improvements as each day passes! But she does have a bit of a hospital stay ahead of her. The medical bills and long term followup will be overwhelming for this young family even after insurance, especially considering the loss of wages due to extra time off work.

We would love to rally around them to help take some of the financial burden off their shoulders so they can focus their energy on this sweet baby girl. Any gift you would consider would be greatly appreciated by the entire family. And if you are not able to help in this way, prayers for the family are also very much appreciated!
