Hi, my name is Natasha and I am Heidi Hovis’s big sister.

Heidi was diagnosed with metastatic Breast Cancer in August of this year and has started her journey through chemotherapy and treatment.

To know Heidi is to know how much she cares about people. Be it the students she supports as an Education Assistant, the workers she represents as union local president or the many friends who come to her for advice, love and much laughter.

She’s also fiercely independent and is not one to ask for help. So I am doing it for her. Heidi is unable to work any of her three jobs right now and is worried about being able to support her family and keep life as normal as possible for her two teenagers at home and her eldest daughter. Any amount you can give will help cover living expenses and other associated costs incurred while she is undergoing chemotherapy for the next few months.

All funds will be given directly to Heidi and I know she (and I) will be forever grateful to all of you.
