Team Groves: Chip in for Corinne

Good friends! Welcome to Team Groves.Here is the deal… Corinne Groves, a teacher at Meadowlark Middle School, a graduate of Wake Forest University (where she played basketball for the Old Gold and Black,) a mother, a horse whisperer, a child of God and our friend has been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Surgery is forthcoming. A lengthy recovery is on the horizon. We want God to fix this. Right now. Today. This is our prayer. Fix. It. He feeds sparrows and He cradles crocodiles. He runs with lions and He swims with whales. He harvests leaves and He picks raindrops in a garden we can’t even imagine. Well, it’s time to stop messing around. Fix Corinne. Ask Him to fix this. Pray. Sing. Dance. Holler. Cry. Do whatever it is that you do to get God’s attention. Bow. Be humble. Ask. AFTER that… (and we know some of you want to buy surgical scrubs in ridiculous colors and help with the surgery. Don’t. We have doctors. They’re good. Stick with what you know.) Anyway, AFTER that… we need money. Corinne is gonna be on the sidelines for a while. The family needs to eat. Medicine isn’t free. Life continues. Corinne’s life will continue. Let’s help ease the burden. Get the shirt. Wear gray. Buy the wristband. Tell everybody. Do what you can. $1 or $1,000. $10,000. Every dollar counts.
