Team Gimmel

When you think 2020 Could not get any worse it has for the Gimmel family! As we all are dealing with Covid and life changes and trying to keep our families safe heartache has fallen on our family. Todd Gimmel a husband a dad a grandparent a son and a brother has fallen ill. In the beginning of this November Todd was tested positive for Covid, trying to push through and heal from the virus he experienced EXTREME Headaches and found himself at urgent care with medicine prescribed. But that wasn’t enough, he found himself back at urgent care and having to have a CT scan! Upon results of the scan they found a brain tumor and he was transferred to Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee! The tumor needed to be removed but because of covid he could not have surgery until the following week. So with many many prayers from family and friends Todd proceeded to surgery at Froedtert on November 11. After many hours of surgery Todd was in recovery and things seem to be going his way. That was not the case, swelling on the brain began which started the series of many scans in which he coded and was brought back to us but the swelling required a second surgery to remove part of his skull to put a drain In to bring down the swelling. It is now November 20 and Todd has not yet woke up, he is in very good hands at a top hospital but as you know top medical care comes at a cost. My purpose of the fundraising is to help give Todd and Deb some ease with hopefully a little less worry on medical bills. I know we are all in very unfortunate times with Covid, and even if you are unable to give may I ask for prayers. Todd is a very exceptional very hard-working supportive husband and dad. I don’t think you would see a week go by where he is not supporting his badgers or Packers! Todd has always been a very giving individual he is a good man and we need him back, I pray with your support we can make it easier on his family.    Thank You
