Geoff is someone who has always been willing to help others without hesitation — dependable, kindhearted, hardworking, and the type of person people can count on. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer and has continued to dedicate himself to serving others throughout his life. Today, Geoff works at Wake Tech, where he continues to positively impact the people around him. Geoff is a devoted father and proud grandfather whose family and friends mean everything to him.
What you may not know is that Geoff was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer — a diagnosis that has changed life overnight for him and those who love him. At this time, there may be limited medical options available. Always with a sense of humor, Geoff gives cancer only 1 star, and can't recommend it at all!
We are creating Team Geoff and this fundraiser to specifically help ease the financial burden that comes with this diagnosis. Our first goal is to help him with his copays and deductibles to reach his out-of-pocket insurance max and provide some support for added living expenses for his changing day-to-day needs, so Geoff and his family can focus on what matters most: time together, support, and care.
