Dear Family and Friends,

 

I am Elaine Rallo, Frank’s wife. My sweet husband Frank had a massive left brain stroke on Nov 12 , 21 a few months after we retired.

This stroke affected his right side of his body from having mobility and damaged 33% of his brain.

 

A saying I quickly learned is that

TIME is BRAIN POWER. Not only are you devastated after this happens to your loved one, but you find out that whatever the stroke victim’s recovery gained is mainly by 6 months and less in 6 months to 1 year. Time is of the essence.

 

It also affected his speech and language centers which affected his motor and communication skills.

The funds will be used for robotic arm, blue light therapy,  medical costs, acupuncture, and ongoing treatments for recovery.

 

It's an overwhelming life changing event that I never thought would happen to my Frank.
