Hi! We are science artists raising funds for the Vesalius Trust-a-thon Challenge, to support student research in scientific visual communication.

Our event is like a hackathon, and we have two weeks (Sept 18-Oct 1) to design a piece based on the theme, "NEW ENERGY." We are creating a whimsical Positive Energy Island poster that you can be a part of!

 

Please help us raise funds by October 1! Any donation will help make an impact. But we will give REWARDS based on your level of contribution. Thanks in advance for your help!

You rock! Receive a high-resolution pdf of our island to print or enjoy digitally, as well as all three phone wallpapers.

Wind Power - $50

Aw you blow us away! Get a pdf of collectable cards, poster and phone wallpapers!

Solar Power - $100

You light up our hearts! We will mail you a print poster with a little hand-drawn cartoon sketch in the corner! You will also receive the pdf poster, cards and three phone wallpapers. (Sorry we can only ship to US or Canada)

Nuclear fusion - $150

Fuuuuuuuuuuuse! You created powerful energy on our island that's never been harnessed by humankind. Donate to this tier by Monday, Sept 26 to FUSE your custom character into our poster! This is a limited tier and will only go to the first five donors. You will also receive a pdf poster, cards and three phone wallpapers.

 

CLAIMING YOUR REWARD

We will contact you at the email address you supply in the donation section to send you your reward! We plan to send out all digital rewards by mid-October, and print rewards by end of October.

We are a group of professional science artists that have graduated from the University of Toronto Masters of Science in Biomedical Communications, and the Johns Hopkins University Masters of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration.
