Team Fawkes the Phoenix for Jessica

March 15, 2019...on this day Jessica lost her home and beloved pets, Sirius Black, Weasley, and Krishna, to an apartment fire that began on the first floor and trapped her family on the second floor in southwest Houston.  Some light shone as her mother and one dog, Venus, escaped with the timely aid of neighbors.  The place she called home quickly became a hollow, smouldering remnant now immersed in water and fire retardant.




Now, we wish to show the hope and courage that surrounds Jessica is much like Fawkes in Harry Potter, a new start emerging from the ashes.  She is a great fan of the series and shows much of the same character and strengths as Fawkes.  She will need just about everything for a fresh start, as it was all lost.  


Please help us bring back the smile to Jessica.  One who always gives so much to those around her and asks for so little in return.
