Farrah Daniel is a wife, mother, daughter, and friend who has shown us all the faith and strength only God can give. In January 2024, Farrah was diagnosed with a rare form of Lukemia called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). She had multiple rounds of Chemo, and extended hospital stays.
When cancer cells were still found in her bone marrow, the doctors recommended more chemo, radiation and then a bone marrow transplant which she had August 9th.
Due to a variety of possible complications, Farrah will need to be close to UAB and return 2-3 times a week for checkups. She will be staying at Hope Lodge “halfway house” (as she calls it) in Birmingham for approximately 96 days. She also requires a “babysitter” round the clock. (She probably should have had one of those a long time ago!)
The doctors are pleased with her progress so far, and the new stem cells engrafted (this is good!); however, she still has a long way to go to regain her immune system, strength, and stamina.
This fund is being created for the many people who have reached out wanting to help Farrah and her family in some way. Prayers are the most powerful way to help right now, but monetary donations will be used to cover ongoing medical and medication expenses, travel for family caretakers, and food while at Hope Lodge.
”I can do ALL through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13
