Friends and family, it's been a while since we provided an update on Ewan's health. Firstly, I want to express what a wonderful eight years it has been. During this time, Ewan and our family have experienced numerous joyful moments, including marriages, the birth of Ewan's three nieces and two nephews, and the addition of a dog named Chef. Ewan has also enjoyed fantastic vacations, with the most recent one being to Puerto Rico with Karen. With Ewan's blessing, he has asked me to share an update. A routine MRI in January revealed changes, and five weeks later, another scan confirmed that Ewan's tumor has grown and now occupies his cervical cord. Over the past couple of weeks, we've been immersed in appointments and planning as his incredible team diligently works on the next steps. Fortunately, advancements in modern medicine since 2016 mean that Ewan is now eligible for a clinical trial drug that wasn't available before. Alongside this new drug, he will undergo chemotherapy and five weeks of radiation as tolerated. While the upcoming weeks may be challenging and uncertainties lie ahead, I can confidently say that Ewan remains strong, composed, and unbelievably brave. We deeply appreciate all your support, love, prayers, and kindness over these last eight years. Your contributions have truly uplifted us and enhanced the quality of Ewan's life .
