Team Dulwich are coming together to raise money for a defibrillator for our nursery.

We have a lot of thrilling fund-raising events lined up, including an a fun day, and even an exciting walk over the O2!

Did you know the likelihood of survival with a defibrillator is heavily dependent on how quickly it is used:

If it's used within 3–5 minutes of a person collapsing, survival chances can soar to 50–70%.

Using it within the first minute of a cardiac arrest can lead to a survival rate as high as 90%.

With each passing minute of delay, survival prospects shrink to about 10%.

If more than ten minutes go by, the chances for an adult to survive a cardiac arrest fall to less than 5%.

The closest defibrillator we have right now is located at the local Tesco's, which is approximately a 4-minute walk away
