David Diggs is a friend to countless people of all ages. I have worked with Diggs at Watkins Mill high school for the past 11 years and it has been both a blast and very meaningful. Anyone who knows David would have a smile on their face even before they started to speak about him.
In early spring of this year he discovered that he had Multiple Myeloma and is going through countless treatments as well as stem cell replacement . During the school year, staff, friends and family were generous enough to donate money as they could for David’s co-pay expenses. Some of us made him gallons of chicken noodle soup which he has enjoyed immensely :-). However, the countless treatments are taking it’s toll financially on David.
I have created this go fund me page so that people David has touched throughout his life living near and far can have a chance to contribute to his financial needs. One thing I know about Diggs is that if it was me in his situation, he would be doing all he can to help me and anyone else in the situation he is in currently. Diggs is a fighter and he is doing very well with his treatment but he has a long hard road ahead of him. Here are some fun facts about our friend David Diggs…

Started at the Mill in 2001 when Principal ask me to put in a National know Program called Renaissance. That program recognized students academics such as All A's, Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance and . 5 GPS Raise.
Also took students to Florida, Texas, and Missouri to name a few. Also ran Teen Club, Coached JV girls soccer for 4 years, Coached Basketball for 4 years JV basketball, Coached JV Baseball for 3 years and became the Varsity Basball coach for 2 years. Also assistant AD for Soccer the past 4 years.
I was also recognized for 4 ABCD awards as well as recognized by the House of Delegates Award for DOCC'S Program at Damascus High.
