My husband David was laid off from his job as a financial analyst contracting at Microsoft mid May. On June 20th he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His prognosis is great, his doctor believes he will be cancer free at the end of his treatment.
The problem is that he will be unable to work during that treatment, so he will be unemployed for another 10 months or so. We will be living on my pay as a daycare teacher during that time. David's salary was approximately 7/9ths of our monthly income.
Any money raised through GoFundMe will be used to pay utilities, groceries, gas, etc. until David is able to work again.
