If you know Danners, you know he’s one of life’s great men. Teaching our young kids for decades, getting in and under for the ball, being a grouse dad, hubby, family member and friend. He's always up for a laugh, ready for a gig, happy to lend a hand. He's a real salt of the earth human, with a big heart.

Recently, he and the family have been thrown a curveball with a tricky cancer situation. He’s powered through some really tough rounds of chemo but the standard options aren’t doing all that we'd all hope for right now.

As this train finishes its course, Danners and the crew are looking at alternative pathways, different approaches, world class practices and overseas options to find the next step. These come with hope and potentially a hefty price tag.

We’re jumping in to help give Danners and Liss the freedom to chase whatever path gives him the best shot as the options present. Whether that’s specialised treatment overseas, a different medical approach, or simply making sure they’ve got the breathing room and support they need while navigating everything ahead.
