This is my nephew Dallas on New Year’s Eve happy, healthy and smiling. Then just 8 days later he was admitted to the hospital with a mass on his tummy. On January 9th. My sister and brother in law were given news no parent should ever have to hear. Dallas had a malignant tumor in his liver stage 3. At just 3 months old Dallas was diagnosed with Hepatoplastom a liver cancer common in infants and toddlers. Dallas has been in the PICU fighting and overcoming every new obstacle thrown in his path. He is currently undergoing chemo in hopes to shrink the tumor enough to relieve some of the pressure on other organs. The amazing medical team at UCLA needs Dallas to be stable enough on his own to put him on the transplant list. Dallas will need a liver transplant. We continue to pray for our little warrior who is the light of this family to continue to fight and stay as strong as he can! He will win this battle!
