My dad has leukemia. It is a terrible cancer. His only hope of survival is to undergo a bone marrow transplant. In January, he went through his bone marrow transplant. He is currently having complications from the transplant with Grafts Vs. Host Disease, bacteria in his transfusion line, and a number of other problems. He is back in the hospital fighting through it all. His wife Darra has spent every minute with him since the procedure. They had to pick up and move almost 4 hours from their home to be near the hospital. Neither of them have been able to work and will not be able to work for some time. They need help to cover living expenses, food, gas to get to and from the hospital, monthly bills, hospital bills, etc. The list is endless.
