Team Cubicle COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser

Hello everyone, this is TheCubicle. We are a New York-based company that specializes in colorful twisty puzzles and brainteasers. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the Doctors Without Borders COVID Crisis Fund. At the end of this event, our company will match the donation dollar-for-dollar (up to $10,000) and donate alongside all the generous donors here.

To make things fun, we will be running a Twitch livestream on Friday, November 20 from 9am to 5pm EST. We will be solving puzzles, doing Q&A sessions, hosting special guests, and chatting with some of our generous donors! This is a great event if you would like to enjoy some speedcubing, a safe and fun indoor activity while raising money for a great cause. 

Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian medical NGO that offers aid to people suffering from COVID-19 related hardships. This ranges from caring for patients, offering health education and mental health support to providing training for viral infection control measures.

To show our appreciation, we will be rewarding donors with a variety of cool prizes and interactions. Here they are: 

Shoutout: Donations from $1-$19 will receive a shoutout on the livestream

Discount: Donations from $20-$49 will receive a 10% off one-time use discount coupon to TheCubicle.com

Stream Message: Donations from $50-$149 can have a custom message read on our livestream

Quick Guest: Donations from $150-$349 can book a 5 minute appearance on our stream 

Feature Guest: Donations over $350 can book a 15 minute appearance on our stream

Rewards are inclusive upwards. For example, if you donate for the discount code, you will receive a shoutout on the stream. If you book a 5-minute appearance on the stream, you will receive a shoutout and a 10% off discount code. Booking a 15 minute appearance does not secure an additional 5 minute appearance because that would be silly. You are always welcome to have us read a custom message while you are on as a guest or any other time during the stream. 

Donors wanting to appear on stream are strongly encouraged to make their donation by the end of Tuesday, November 17 to leave room for preparation and scheduling. Stream guests will be scheduled first come, first serve. We will try our best to schedule everybody in convenient time slots. If you donate late and we are unable to schedule a guest appearance, your donation will be honored on stream as a custom message and will be given special attention.

Other Content 

In addition to the 8-hour livestream, we will also be preparing a YouTube video and a special page on our website. The full video of our livestream will be available on Twitch and YouTube after it concludes. 

The YouTube video will show us donating the final amount we raise together to the Doctors Without Borders COVID-19 Crisis Fund. Additionally, we will also be thanking each and every donor again in the video! The page on our website will also contain special thanks to all the donors.
