Hi, my name is Toni West and I’m trying to raise money to help my Brother-in-law, Cory West, fight lung cancer. 

Cory has had a rough road with his health. When he was in college he was diagnosed with diabetes. He was able to manage this with insulin shots for awhile but eventually needed dialysis.  In 2007 he received a kidney and pancreas transplant. The transplant really helped turn Cory’s health around. Things were going good until 2014 when he was in a bad motorcycle accident. He spent quite a bit of time in Iowa City to recover. But in true Cory fashion, he bounced back and got right back on his Harley! In 2019 Cory developed a spot on his arm. He found out that it was cancerous and likely caused by his anti-rejection meds from his transplant.Not many people even knew of this because he didn’t complain or slow down. This winter he started having trouble with his arm again so he went back to the doctor. They found that the cancer had spread to his lungs. Cory is still trying to work during his chemo treatments.But he’s struggling and needs our help. 

Cory is the kind of guy that would give the shirt of his back to help others. He’s an awesome uncle to Jackson and Taylor. He was always the first to get down on the floor and play with them, even if it meant playing barbies with Taylor. 

Please help Cory kick cancer to the curb for good! We need to get him back on his Harley!
