Hi. Sair here. Many of you have joined us on our journey with John and his health.

Recovery from hip surgery has been slow due to the brain cancer shifting. In himself J is stronger than he was in January 2023.

Physio in the hospital has run its course and last week we were given a two week to discharge petmission and we started funding requests for equipment as we require lifts, a specialized air bed and other pieces too. Funding so far is very slim but I keep pushing and exploring all avenues.

My employer has been very understanding and the team very supportive for which we are eternally grateful.

It's 14 weeks today since we entered the hospital. Hard to believe. This week to add to our challenges J has had biopsies for a new cancer which has popped up and we await the results. We have been advised to still work towards discharge and equipment needs may change. Some equipment we can rent.

To that end my wages have taken a hit and the bills keep coming as does gas and parking fees each day. We had the news on Wednesday that some of the equipment we need can't be rented and we would need to buy it. 4k for that piece alone!
