Team Cherish Murphy Strong

On behalf of Felicia Smith, I am raising money for her daughter Cherish. Felicia and Cherish's story follows:

My daughter Cherish was involved in a senseless & devastating act of crime on March 26, 2022. This incident occurred in broad daylight at a carwash while my daughter was sitting in the car. A crossfire between two other men broke out and my innocent daughter was the one who suffered from the cowardly act of the other people when a stray bullet hit her in the head. This is a parents worst nightmare! I am beyond angry and now my daughter has to suffer from long term health problems because of this. My sweet, smart and loving daughter was rushed to the hospital where they immediately performed emergency surgery. The doctors had to hurry up and get the bullet out. I was told she had a slight chance of living and they didn't think she would make it, but by the grace of God my strong warrior was able to fight. She fought hard. Although Cherish is stable she is still fighting daily. She suffered memory loss, vision loss, hearing loss and she can barely talk or walk. She is wheelchair bound. This tragic incident has affected my other daughters and myself. How can you shoot an innocent child? She didn't deserve this. This has to stop because these are babies getting hurt. I never imagined in a million years I would have to witness my baby like this. I am asking all my prayer warriors to pray for me and my family. Due to the 24/7 care Cherish requires I'm still unable to return to work since this happened. If you can find it in your heart to be a blessing to help my family and I, it would be greatly appreciated. We are struggling with Cherish’s medical bills and all other expenses that I'm not able to pay at this time. I really appreciate any amount you can donate, nothing is too small.
