Newborn baby Carter Nolan has been in the hospital for over a week now with hyperinsulinism. He continues to fight, but has a long road ahead. Carter will be transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia today where experts can treat him.
His parents, Amanda and Donovan, haven't left his side at UK hospital. Amanda works at EKU and Donovan is an officer with Richmond Police Department.
While Donovan and Amanda focus on their son, we are raising money to help ease their financial burden. Medical expenses are growing daily and any amount contributed will be a blessing to this wonderful family.
