Team Canada Women's Football - Finland 2022

En mai dernier, j’ai été sélectionné comme quart arrière pour faire partie de l’équipe canadienne de football féminin afin de participer au Championnat du monde de 2022 qui aura lieu cet été en Finlande. La plupart d’entre vous savez à quel point ce sport est important pour moi, autant au niveau personnel qu’au niveau du développement des femmes dans le football. Ayant comme objectif de m’améliorer et de percer sur la scène nationale comme QB depuis 2013, j’ai mis les bouchés doubles en travaillant on and off the field et on va se l’dire, je parle presque juste du football depuis! Ceci étant dit, nous travaillons fort pour l’équité, mais pour le moment, faire parti de Team Canada est un accomplissement et un rêve qui coûte cher.

Nous estimons les coûts de ce tournoi autour de $4000 par athlète. Faire parti de cette équipe pour la 2e fois est un rêve pour moi et j’ai travaillé très fort pour m’y rendre. J’ai donc besoin de votre aide pour réduire les coûts afin de réaliser mon objectif de participer au développement des femmes dans le sport en représentant l’équipe canadienne lors des championnats du monde en Finlande en juillet/août 2022.

Hello,

Last May, I was selected as a quarterback for the Canadian Women's Football Team to participate in the 2022 World Championship, which will take place this summer in Finland. Most of you know how important this sport is to me, both personally and in the development of women in football. With the goal of improving myself and stepping into the national scene as a QB since 2013, I've worked hard to work on and off the field, and we all know I've been talking almost just about football ever since! That being said, we work hard for equity, but right now, being part of Team Canada is an expensive achievement and dream.

We estimate the costs for this tournament to be around $4,000 per athlete. Being part of this team for the 2nd time is a dream for me, and I worked very hard to get there. Therefore, I need your help to reduce costs to achieve my goal of participating in the development of women in sport by representing the Canadian team at the world championships in Finland in July/August 2022.
