Team Cam Fights Cancer

Our son, Cameron Fuqua, recently received the heart breaking news that he has Burkitt's Lymphoma; a rare and highly aggressive cancer at the age of 29. Cameron was working at a John Deere dealership (Quality Equipment) in Henderson, NC and doing well. He and his girlfriend were gradually getting closer to planning marriage and starting a family prior to this devastating news. He'll have to spend the next five months in intensive chemotherapy daily at Duke Medical Center. The powerful chemo alone will likely end his ability to father a child. A once vibrant life full of dreams is now reduced to a hospital room with tubes feeding into his chest. As parents, if we could take this off of him and put it on us, we would. The impact on all of us, his family and friends, is difficult to bear, but this is life for us for now. The expense of this ordeal, as you can imagine, is enormous.
