Team Mr.B’s Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

Hi my name is Anne and I am starting a go fund me for my good friend Dan. Dan Bullington Jr. “Mr. B” has spent the last twenty years devoting his life to teaching theater and drama to students at Clarksville Senior High School, as well as participating and supporting multiple other groups of students in other organizations and teams involved in the school. Dan is a native of Clarksville, IN, and has devoted the great majority of his life to acting, teaching students the art of acting, and set designing and building. Dan works with all students, regardless of their skills and cognitive abilities, and he welcomes anyone and everyone to be a part of his program and try new things and helps them to flourish not only as students, but as people. 

Recently Dan went to the emergency room for severe abdominal pain. After three days of testing, biopsies, and waiting, Dan was told he had an aggressive cancer - pancreatic, stage IV. Dan’s treatment must begin as soon as possible, taking him away from his family at home and his family at school. 

The news hit very quickly and quite unexpectedly, and friends and family are trying to do anything and everything they can to support Dan in the best ways possible; working to alleviate as much stress, anxiety, and worry in regards to bills, food, and other unknown and unforeseen expenses, especially those for his eight-year-old son who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder - his true number one job, “Daddy”. While there is no monetary “goal” to reach, cancer expenses and expenses for an exceptional child can prove to be seemingly endless. Our goal is to do all we can to help ease the minds of Dan and his family during this most difficult and uncertain time.
