Brett is an 11 yr old fun and sweet boy. He is in the 6th grade at St. Mark. In June of 2014 he was diagnosed with a grade 3 brain tumor called anaplastic astrocytoma that is in the thalamus. Surgery is not an option at this time, but we are praying that chemo and radiation will shrink the tumor. Brett loves sports. He has played football, baseball,basketball, and hockey. He is religious and always wants to serve at mass. He is very close to God. He would like to explore being in the priesthood when he grows up. Brett bounced back after having surgery due to hydrocephalus without the need for a shunt. He is also tolerating chemo and proton radiation. He is a strong boy that needs prayers.
