Hi, my name is Stacey and I have been given the go ahead to create this fundraiser to help a long time friend and coworker through an incredibly trying time as her son Bolton was suddenly diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis last November and upon further testing was also diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia (bone marrow aplasia) in January of this year. This rare condition keeps his body from producing enough new blood cells causing Bolton to have to endure multiple platelet transfusions each week and sometimes even blood transfusions. Due to the frequent hospitalizations and clinic visits he has had to forfeit many of the things he loves like going to school and playing sports. Bolton is a high spirited, outgoing, funny, 13 year old boy who brings light to everyone who interacts with him!

In April he had a port placed and underwent ATG immunosuppressive therapy in an attempt to normalize his white blood cell levels. After 4 months with no response to treatment they are left to face his final option which is a complete bone marrow transplant. This is a huge setback for him and his

family as they will have to pick up and move down to Riley for an estimated 4-6 months as Bolton undergoes transplant and recovery. Amy is a single mom who will be out of work for the time that they are completing this process in hopes to give Bolton his normality back and allow him to just be a kid again.

The money raised will go towards helping maintain their home, utilities, travel costs, and medical expenses. Amy has worked so hard to provide for her family and shows everyone love so it’s time to return the blessings and show her what an army she has to stand with her and her children as they face these next few months.
