Team B-lieve for Brendan Dennehy
Donation protected
On March 19, 2021 our beloved friend, father to Dax, and longtime Hailey business owner, Brendan Dennehy (affectionately known as “B”), was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Tumor. Just days later he underwent brain surgery in Boise, and while the surgery went well, Brendan has a long and challenging road ahead of him to get in front of this aggressive tumor. Thankfully he was accepted into an immediate experimental trial at Providence St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. This rigorous protocol includes mandatory IN-PERSON TREATMENT EVERY 2 WEEKS in Santa Monica California, as well as DAILY CHEMO PILLS…INDEFINITELY!
Unfortunately, this treatment is NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. As you can imagine, his life has been forever changed and we are here to surround him with love and support as he navigates this confusing and painful time.
With insurance not covering and Brendan having to reduce his work schedule almost to zero; and the overwhelming amount of continuous travel back and forth to SoCal (in addition to specific food requirements and medication), we want to raise as much money as possible to offset these mounting costs. Brendan is committed to doing everything he can to fight this - so please join TEAM “B”-LIEVE in helping take financial worry out of this equation, and allow him to focus just on his strength and healing.
Brendan has been a friend to everyone who’s visited his many Hailey restaurants over the past 22 years. Prior to owning restaurants, he was your favorite bartender at the Sawtooth Club, and an avid skier who never met a 40ft jump he didn’t like! He is a loving, devoted and present father to his young son Dax; and a father figure to the entire Zou 75 staff family…many of which have worked for him for two decades. He is quiet but kind, never judges people, and always finds the good in everyone. Let’s show him that love in return!
Thank you for any help you can lend in Brendan’s fight. If you’re unable to give, please know love and prayers from this amazing community mean so much. It is so difficult to watch him go through this excruciating journey…your presence in his life is everything to him…and to all of us! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
*We would also like to request your utmost discretion in NOT discussing this with, or in the presence of Dax! This sweet boy is only 11 years old and we need to protect him from this already confusing and challenging time. Any information that he is given should come directly from his parents, Brendan and Ramie! Thank you so much for your respect with this request.*
