Hi, my name is Carrie and I am Chantal's stepsister and friend.  As many of you know Russ and Chantal were given the devastating news that their 2 year old son Benny has Leukemia.  Benny has been diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.  They have a long road ahead of them but the doctors have given them a curable prognosis.  Benny has already undergone numerous tests and procedures and has also been given his first chemotherapy treatment.  His proud parents have been amazed at Benny's bravery over the past few days.  Chantal has reported that they feel confident and well looked after by the amazing and compassionate medical team at CHEO.  Chantal and Russell are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support they have received from family and friends.  It is difficult to really show them how much we care as many of us would like to physically be there with them.  They have a lot on their plates right now and finances should be the last thing that they are worried about.  Supporting them with a monetary donation is something that we can do to help.   Thank you to each and every one of you who are able to donate.
