Team BC to U18 Nationals
Donation protected
Team Ballard has earned the honour of representing BC at the U18 Nationals, which will be held in New Brunswick from April 9-14.
Our team of Dawson Ballard (Skip), Hayato Sato (Fourth), Joshua Miki (Second), and Troy Chong (Lead), curl out of the Royal City, Coquitlam, and Cloverdale Curling Clubs. This is our second season together, and earlier this year we lost the finals of the BC Junior Provincials to the eventual Canadian and World Champions, Team Tardi. After a long week, we finished with a 9-0 record, ultimately winning a tightly contested game against Team McCrady. Our hard work and dedication all season has paid off, and we are continuing to make our dreams a reality.
We believe it will be an amazing experience to be able to represent British Columbia at the Nationals. However, traveling across the nation is quite financially demanding. Every bit of support is greatly appreciated, and will help subsidize the costs of airfare and accommodations, which total to roughly $5000.
Thank you!
