This is Barbie.

Barbie is a mother, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a daughter, and a friend who recently suffered from a massive heart attack resulting in open heart surgery. And although she may hurt me for revealing her age, she is only 50 years old.

Barbie's surgery, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), included 3 successful bypasses. This surgery is to help return blood flow to the heart where it was once blocked and return the heart to normal function.

She is as stubborn as she is strong and we have faith that she will recover like the badass she is. But this recovery will take some time and she will be unable to return to her normal daily life as quick as she would hope. She will be unable to return to work or drive for quite some time. 

Barbie is always there to help others in their time of need and now it is our turn to return the favor. We all know the struggle of wanting to help someone but not knowing how. This one way we can help Barbie and her family in their time of need.
