Frank Avvisato Memorial Fund

It has been an incredibly difficult year for so many families across the country, and witnessing communities organize to help them overcome unexpected adversity is inspirational.  It’s this community spirit that alleviates the substantial burdens that our neighbors and loved ones are confronted with following significant medical procedures.  Frank Avvisato and his family need us!  His sudden cancer diagnosis, multiple surgeries, lengthy hospital stays and ongoing care have resulted in unimaginable medical bills.  And although Frank has proven to be resilient, he still has a long road to recovery.  Insurance covers a small fraction of the bills, but there is still a tremendous amount that must be paid out of pocket.  Frank, his wife Karen and their two children are doing all they can to maintain normalcy, but that is becoming near impossible with the growing debt they face. We can collectively make a difference for them!

Frank and Karen have given so much to our community by coaching many local and travel softball and baseball teams, always with the utmost care for the kids.  They are an amazing family and have touched the lives of so many!
