Ava is a sweet, spunky, loving four year old with a silly sense of humor. Ava is also one of the most determined little warriors that I have ever met. In January 2025, Ava was diagnosed with b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has shown us her superpowers ever since. Her team of admirers and supporters grows every day.

Her parents Adam and Amy have amazed me with their strength and ability to pivot and juggle many different appointments, constant medication changes and unexpected hospital stays over the last nine months. They were balancing all this while also showing up for Ava's big brother as he graduated high school and is now a freshman in college. Naturally, this has taken a toll on their finances, but they both continue to work through it all. And they make sure Ava has the consistency of getting to see her friends at preschool so she can continue to play and learn.

Superpowers can only get a family so far and I am hoping some of Ava's admirers and community will help in any way they can.
