Team AUST to Worlds 2023 - For the sports future!

Hi, as a long-time ambassador for our sport of artistic roller skating and as a skater who received tireless support from our skating community in Australia and worldwide, we now find ourselves in an extremely different environment. Our skaters desperately need YOUR HELP, not just to get to WORLDS in Colombia next week, but for the future.

Introducing TEAM AUSTRALIA 2023 - Rory Armfield (Sen Men's Solo Dance), Sophia Garufo (Jun Ladies Solo Dance) and Team Manager - Jodie Garufo. The costs associated with this trip we aim to support is more than $14,000 for FLIGHTS alone. On top of this, accommodation, meals, local transport, entry fees, team fees, costumes, connections, and many other elements are enormous, and our country has no funding support to assist.

Why, you ask? With the new capping rules, eligibility, and other associated rules and aspects of competition that now are in place, participation in 2023 only makes it possible in 2024 for other skaters to be eligible to compete. For us to remain on the International stage, we need to send skaters to these events, and it shouldn't always be at a cost to them. If you are a skater or a parent, and you have a child with dreams of competing overseas at any event, your support now is needed to ensure this legacy continues.

I'm asking every club in Australia, every skater, volunteer, official, and supporter out there who wants to see our sport flourish and regain its competitive wings on the world stage.
